today is flag day...a few years ago we sold a 48 star flag at a yard sale...didn't realize it only had 48 stars until the woman that bought it opened it up and told us...i am still annoyed with myself for not taking it back and telling her it wasn't for sale...our town had a Memorial Day parade a few weeks ago...this little girl clapped and waved still talks about the marching horns...my little cub scout was talked into marching when he heard he could pass out candy to the kids along the route...

this little old lady needed a booster seat or pillow or something to prop her up...she spent the whole parade staring at the interior side panel of the car and all we got to see was the tippy top of her little head...at least she had her hair done for the occasion....
