a tiny little cabin with christmas lights in july, not so far from the little city in the mountains + new pajamas too pretty to wear at home with a little bit of morning sun...part one of our summer 2015 road trip, asheville, north carolina.



   

the boys were on bikes...the girls in a cool hotel...morguen toole company, meyersdale, pa...there was exposed brick, art journaling, amazing light and hide and seek.



there was something about holding a real key that made this hotel stay a little more special...or maybe it was the original furniture from the 1930s...or that zigzag bathroom floor...or the fact that we slept three sideways in the bed and one on the floor...or maybe it was the early morning fog...or the sounds of the kids giggling as they played in the teeny, tiny closet...we slept in a wigwam and we can't wait to go back.
